Red Arrow Limited ExpressSeibu Railway's Red Arrow Limited Express is a 10000 series train that connects Tokyo to the Chichibu and Kawagoe area. Its debut was in 1969 when the Seibu Chichibu Line was opened, and the train currently in operation is the second-generation express model with seven cars.

As the Koedo Go on the Shinjuku Line and as the Musashi Go and Chichibu Go on the Ikebukuro Line and Seibu Chichibu Line, the express is a popular choice both for business and pleasure. The express is perfect for visiting the two major tourist spots on the Seibu Line, Kawagoe and Chichibu.

Facilities on the Red Arrow
  • Smoking is prohibited on all cars.
  • Bathrooms are located in cars 1 and 7.
  • Telephone card-based public telephones are available in car 1 (Telephones cannot be used between Hannō Station and Sebu-Chichibu Station).
  • Wheelchair accessible seats and bathrooms are available in car 1.
  • Beverage vending machines are available in cars 1 and 7.

Purchasing limited express tickets

When to purchase advance tickets
Advance tickets are available for purchase one month prior to the date of use.
Group reservations (more than eight people) are accepted during the period from one month and seven days prior to the day of use to 20 days prior to the day of use. These tickets can be collected during the period from one month to eight days prior to the day of use.
*Please note that if tickets are not collected eight days prior to the day of use, the reservations will automatically be cancelled.

Office hours: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Tickets can be purchased at the following stations during the above office hours:
Ikebukuro, Nerima, Hibarigaoka, Nishi-Tokorozawa, Seibukyūjō-mae, Kotesashi, Irumashi, Hannō, Koma, Ashigakubo, Yokoze, Seibu-Chichibu, Seibu-Shinjuku, Takadanobaba, Tanashi, Higashi-Murayama, Tokorozawa, Shin-Tokorozawa, Sayamashi, Hon-Kawagoe, and Kokubunji.
