-
PASMO is an IC card system for payment of fares on main railways and buses in the Metropolitan area. Just touching an automatic ticket gate at stations or a card reader on buses with the card will automatically deduct the required fare from the card if the card is pre-loaded (with money). The card can be used repeatedly if it is reloaded (with money) at train stations or on buses. The card is convenient since you do not have to buy a ticket every time you take a train.
PASMO can also be used as electronic money for shopping at stores in staion.
